For this third installment of the "You're Sweet Enough" blogging series, I'd like to conclude with a few more big tips on how you can reduce the amount of sugar you intake.  In part 1 we talked about the "why's" of reducing sugar.  In part 2 I gave you great tips on how you can begin lowering your sugar intake.  And finally, in today's part 3, I'll give a few more strategies.  {I encourage you to read part 1 and 2 if you haven't done so already.}

1. If you are having sweets, use smaller plates.  You can trick your body into thinking you're eating a lot of that brownie, when really you're only having a minimal amount.

2. Choose a good breakfast cereal {if you are a cereal person}.  Opt for ones with 6g or less sugar per cup.

3. Make your own jam or use jams that are very low in sugar.  When you use jam, only spread a thin layer on.

4. Keep healthy snacks, including nuts, fruits, veggies, kickin' around your house for when you feel the urge to eat sugar.

5. And lastly, when you feel the urge to eat sweets, go for a walk!  Chances are you won't feel like eating them when you get back.

I had so much fun writing this series, and I hope you learned a few things {I certainly did just writing it!}.
