Purses can be very hard to keep tidy.  Here are a few helpful tips!

1. Begin by dumping everything out!

2. Start by getting rid of the obvious junk.  Garbage goes into the garbage.  If you have receipts that are over a few months old, it's time to chuck them or store them in a folder (old receipts are almost useless). Old pen lids, dried out lip balms, sticky lotions that can't be salvaged, etc. need to go.

3. Now put away anything that just doesn't belong in your purse. If there's anything odd that doesn't belong in your purse (such as a stuffed animal - how did that get in there?!!) now's the time to take it out.

4. Now organize the stuff you have left into like piles.  (Cosmetics with cosmetics, pens with pens, and so on.)

5. Find creative ways to store your stuff.  Ziploc bags can be great for storing lip balms.  Zippered pouches work wonders for pencils.  Sunglasses should be stored in a sunglass pouch.  Gum can be placed into a pocket of your purse.  If your purse has pockets, make the most of them and USE them!

6. Keep money in order.  No use having coins lying scattered where you can't find them - keep coins in your wallet's zippered pouch, and bills neatly in their too.
