I am a lover of all things DIY (do-it-yourself), so I decided it would be a good time to waltz into the new year with a good ole project.  Here goes!

Braided Headbands

Supplies Needed:

  • A plain headband.  (You can buy these at craft stores I expect, but I know they are sold at Fabricland.)
  • Fabric of your choice.  (Stretchy jersey fabric looks cute.)
  • Glue.

1. Begin by cutting fabric into strips a little longer than the headband, braiding the strips.

2. Wrap the headband with a strip of the same fabric - you can use craft glue or hot glue to adhere it.

3. Glue the braid onto the top of the fabric-covered headband.

4. Enjoy!

Headbands are so versatile, and making your own is so inexpensive and FUN!  What better way to finish off the lovely holidays then by doing a special do it yourself?  I hope you had fun!
