Well, as most of you know, I have been having some lots of trouble with my blog.  Not really sure what is happening, but it seems my web-hoster is revamping....EVERYTHING.  Which makes it very, very hard to use.  Thanks for your patience; it is appreciated!

What I've been up to:  A couple of days ago, I rediscovered this beautiful leopard/cheetah print formal blouse hanging in my closet.  I have had it for 5 months, nearly half a year, and haven't really done anything with it.  Of course, I had high hopes that I would wear it *everywhere*, since it really is a cute shirt, but the *perfect* occasion never presented itself....so I never got to wear it.  :(  It was way too fancy to wear everyday, and I didn't really have any events that I could wear it at.  So, it just got stuffed into the back of my closet.

Until Friday morning, when I was cleaning stuff out, and rediscovered the gem.  By this time, I was almost positive I wouldn't wear it.  It wasn't my style, I told myself.  But instead of giving it away, I decided to re-purpose it.

As most of us know, leopard/cheetah print is REALLY (and I mean really) in.  What started as an autumn trend seems to be carrying over to the colder winter months, as well.  So I knew I couldn't afford to just throw it out.

Enter, my creative juice.

I made a really pretty, very versatile, super cute scarf out of it!  And it looks amazing!  It's got a nice little frill to it, and I can wear it over a white or black shirt.  Love it!  <3

So, that is what I did with my leopard print blouse.

May I encourage you to go through your wardrobe, locate something you love but won't wear, and re-purpose it into something new?  You can make it into a shawl, a scarf, a headband...the opportunities are endless!  Enjoy!
