It's summer - and I wish it could last forever.

But, before I know it, fall will come - and I will fall in love once again with the cooler nights, changing of the leaves, and breeze through the trees.

I'm standing in the warm of night, green grass surrounding me, playing frisbee.

I decide, right then and there, that summer is so short.  I will miss summer when it leaves us!  Jumping, I try and catch the frisbee.  The hot summer sun shines in my eyes, and I miss.  If we don't make the most of every day, we, too, will miss out.  We will miss out on the beautiful weather God has offered to us.

The sound of lively chatter coming from the deck, kids running around.  Green grass, no snow!  Summer!!!  Nights that seem to stretch on and on without it ever getting dark.  No shovelling.  Summer!!!

The frisbee flies in the air, and this time, I reach.  I catch it, and know that I must take advantage of the blessing of the short hot season - summer.
