It might sound silly.  I'm sure it does.  But -- no matter what you are facing, all is well.  And sometimes life hurts, sometimes it's tough, and sometimes we can't see through the dark clouds.  We know there is a silver lining - but where is it?  All hope might have disappeared...you might feel at your wit's end - but all is well.  Your life may be changing like crazy, but all is well.  You might be tight on money - all is well.  You might think I'm crazy - but it's true!  All is well!  Because all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose!

And God has a purpose in all this.  Dare to look through the yuckiness inside you - and dare to fully live.  To reach higher, to soar beyond!

I need this as much as you need this.  Well, that's why I write, really.  I write as much for you as I write for me - because we all go through yucky times and through those times we must dare to see the beautiful. And though we might not see how it's all going to work out, we can trust the Rock of All The Ages.

Don't become disheartened.  Look beyond the shadows, and look to Jesus.  Because somewhere standing in the shadows, you will find Him - He is the friend who always cares.  (I encourage you to read the Standing In The Shadows lyrics by clicking here - they are powerful.)

So though the darkness seems to be closing in, and though you might not see even a glimmer of light: reach higher - and choose to say All Is Well.  In those dark times, know that God is working in ways you can't even begin to comprehend.  Trust trust trust.  Let go of control, let go of perfection, let go of your worries and anxiety and fears.  Trust.  When you feel utterly alone, look for Jesus in the shadows, and you will find Him.  When other helpers fail and comforts flee, help of the helpless, Lord, abide with me! The darkness deepens...O thou who changest not abide with me...shine through the gloom and point me to the skies!

Because you know what?  When life is hardest, that is when you sing the loudest.

He lowers us to raise us
So we can sing His praises
Whatever is His way all is well

He makes us rich and poor
That we might trust Him more
Whatever is His way all is well

All my changes come from Him He who never changes
I'm held firm in the grasp of the Rock of all the ages

All is well with my soul
He is God in control
I know not all His plans
But I know I'm in His hands

He clothes us now then strips us
Yet with His Word equips us
Whatever is His way all is well
And though our seasons change
We still exalt His name
Whatever is His way all is well
