Note - if you do not wear pants, you most certainly do not have to own a pair of jeans. Instead, you could focus on buying a comfortable, versatile jean skirt :)

Closet Staple #7 is: A Fabulous Pair of Jeans

Jeans have become increasingly popular. Jeans come in all sorts of styles, including (but not limited to!) skinny, super skinny, straight, belle bottoms, flare, western, and ultra skinny. Please do not ask me there difference between super and ultra skinny jeans—I have no idea! J It’s beyond me.

Anyway, I’m not going to give you a step by step guide to finding a perfect pair of jeans… I’m sure you can find one yourself. Just a few things to keep in mind:

Don’t go for jeans that are very cheap looking. They won’t last long, trust me, and you’ll end up buying a new pair within weeks.

Do opt for quality. Even if it means spending a little extra, it’s worth it. Honestly!

Don’t just look in one place for jeans. Shop around, check out different stores, and wait for sales.

Do find a color that suits you. Jeans, as we all know, come in dark colors and light colors, and colors in between. Find a color that looks great on you.

How to make jeans last Summer / Fall / Winter

At the beginning of Summer, buy jeans that are slightly bigger. Roll them up to shorts length for the summer. Then, in Autumn, while the weather is still relatively warm, and the jeans are still a tad bit too big, roll them up to make Capri’s. They not only look trendy but go with anything. Then, when the weather shifts to a colder temperature, roll down your jeans to make them full length. By now, you should be totally grown into them – and they’ll keep you warm!
