Yesterday we talked about some easy tips to enjoy and make the most of Autumn. Today, in what I've titled Part II, I want to give you some more practical tips.

~Ministry: Fall is an important time for serving others! As the wind get chillier outside, many people are left homeless. A few years ago I volunteered at Hope Mission with my Dad and a group from our church (click here to read about it).  It was fun to make a warm meal for the homeless and then serve it.  So be on the lookout for ways you can serve in Jesus' name this Fall. As more and more people are stuck without warm homes, remember also to thank God for the warm home He's blessed you with and ask Him for opportunities to serve those who are less fortunate.

~Devotions: With the chillier days it's a good time to get consistent in doing your devotions!  If you are having trouble and not sure where to begin, Loving the Lord Ministries (a lovely ministry led by a young lady down in Minnesota) has lots of free, practical insights to help you get started. I read through all of her encouraging articles about doing devotions and I got lots of great ideas! It really inspired me. (To view Loving the Lord Ministries list of devotion tips and ideas, click here now and then when you are logged onto their website click 'Encouragement' tab to read all articles!)

~Write in a Journal: Journal writing is so much fun and I've really gotten into it these past few weeks. This fall, start a journal. I know friends who keep prayer journals, nature journals, and life journals....you choose which journal you want to start!  Oh, and one thing: do not think you need to write in it every single day!  The reason I say this is because many girls are stressed and think they've let their journaling pursuit slip if they do not write in it every single day. This is not true! I myself do not even write in my journal every day. If you can do every day, good. But don't stress over it. So what if you miss a day? Your journal won't be angry! It's always there waiting for you :)

I hope these tips that I've shared in Part I and Part II have inspired you this Fall.
