So often in life we get down and we forget about all the good things God has given us. My challenge for you this week is to count your blessings. Often this is easier said then done! At the beginning, it will be pretty awkward. But thanking God for everything is not only recommended - it's something we should all do every day!
Can't think of anything to thank Him for? Consider this: -your house -your family -your sister -your brother -food -a warm bed. These simple things that we take for granted are called "blessings from God". So count your blessings and thank God for everything!
Thank God for what blessings he has lavished upon you. Every day try and think of at least 20 new things you are thankful for. Say 10 of the same things you said yesterday (example: your car, your house, bed, Bible, etc....) and 10 new things that you did not say yesterday. This at first may sound like a drudgery and may sound rather strange, but it will help you excercise thanking God and counting your blessings!
