Patience vs. Selfishness Lesson & Excercise

Lesson

Since we're on the theme of "patience", I'd like to introduce you to Natalieville.  In NatalieVille we: respond to my e-mails within 2 minutes, Deliver everything to MY house so I don't have to pick them up at your house, Are always 5 minutes early for EVERYTHING; regardless of other commitments.

Excercise

1. Make up your own city. For example: JaneVille or AnnaVille.  Write a list of standards you'd want all citizens to abide by.

2. Now make city standards that are helpful to OTHER people.  You could use a friends' name for example!  Write things like "I am always on time, I call them weekly, I give them all my hand me downs, I respond to their e-mails punctually, etc."

Conclusion

This is just an excercise to help you in the area of patience.  Actually use the list you made (#2) to help others in real life situations.  You really should respond to their e-mails punctually, and give them hand me downs, etc.  On the fight between Patience vs. Selfishness = Patience wins all the time!
